With the ability to extend signals up to 100m using the two included units, the transmitter can be easily connected to a variety of DisplayPort source devices such as PCs and laptops in a more convenient location, while the receiver can be placed in a suitable viewing area with a LFD (large format display), monitor or projector, ensuring there is no distraction from the display from bulky source devices. This versatility provides a suitable system for use in various scenarios such as educational presentations, CAD facilities or remote server administration. Ideal when power outlets are limited at the receiver end of the installation. Featuring bi-directional IR ports at both sides of the setup, the source equipment can be seamlessly controlled from the display side, and the display can also be controlled from the DisplayPort source device. RS-232 connections also allow for integration into pre-installed control systems. In addition, the power supply is connected via a screw type DC jack, providing a more secure and reliable connection, perfect for professional installations where accidental disconnections could create a major issue. The extenders built-in EDID function ensures maximum compatibility with the display or projector at the receiver, further enhancing this system focus on providing high quality 4K DP content over distances easily and with minimum hassle for the user.
